A welcome return to the lovely Bradgate Park – the last (or the first, depending on which way you are looking!) outcrop of the Pennines - with its large herds of red and fallow deer. The birthplace of Lady Jane Grey – the 10 Day Queen – Bradgate is a unique walking area with woodlands and space to roam.
Approx 5 miles with one short incline to picnic spot (weather permitting). Café towards the end of the walk.
Usual walking gear, boots recommended, picnic, binoculars for a better view of the deer.
