Its National Heritage Open Days this week, so this weekend the Norman churches, Holy Sepulchre and St Peter's are open to the public as are the 17th Century All Saints Church and the Sessions House.   Your task will be to visit these and a number of other local historical sites to get answers to the clues. and to answer a short multiple choice quiz about Northampton's history. 

For those interested we will include a guided Sessions House and Gaol Site tour at 2.00pm.

Meanwhile the other open buildings will be manned by knowledgeable people who'll be delighted to tell you more about the comings and goings over the centuries. 

The overall distance is about 2.5miles, all on pavement. There should be no difficulty finding the answers to the clues, The event, including the 45 minute tour (some of which is seated), should last about 2.5 hours.
