Pack your lunch, sunscreen and waterproofs for a ten mile walk in some of Northamptonshire's finest countryside. From the Draughton car park on the Brampton Valley Way we'll head to Maidwell, then following the high ground to and beyond Maidwell Lodge before descending the Blueberry Lodge, after which we'll head to Hanging Houghton, then cross back over the A508 to follow the ridge walk behind Lamport Hall and finally head to Draughton. Most of the walking is on farm tracks or byways so relatively little sticky stuff, even in March. The views are far reaching almost everywhere, I walked it on the 19th March and it was absolutely gorgeous!
