The postcode LE14 2PN on your Satnav will get you on the correct road (Owston Road) out of Somerby village, continue for about 800m and look on the right hand side, you'll see the farm entrance with two blue Farmer Barnes Dairy signs on top of a hill. Continue down the drive, past the new farmhouse and bear left towards the large farm buildings you'll see car parking spaces. Toilets.

This is a repeat visit to see Farmer Barnes in a very scenic part of Leicestershire to hear about her lovely herd of Ayrshire cows. After hearing about how the herd is managed we will have a tractor and trailer ride (please come appropriately dressed), see how the cows are milked, possibly help to feed the calves and finish up with tea and cakes. You will have a chance to buy Stilton cheese at the farm.
