About the event
Enjoy up to 2.5 hours canoeing at Oundle Marina with lunch afterwards or bring a packed lunch.
Situated between Upper and Lower Barnwell locks, so if you want to go for more than an hour you will need to get the canoes out of the water and carry it a short distance around the lock. It's not that difficult to do, but if you're not sure about it, you could book a guided session and someone will come with you for an extra £25.
The nearest pub is The Talbot Hotel who have a coffee shop too (very nice coffee) but sometimes parking can be tricky however the Tap and Kitchen next to Waitrose had plenty of parking and was very nice inside - booking is essential if there are a lot of us. Menu changes daily but can be viewed online.
