Start at Fermyn Woods Country Park 10:30 am, Lyveden Road Brigstock NN14 3HS. Parking charge is £3.20 4 hours (cash or contactless).
COST: £3 Optional Sunday lunch £12.99 2 courses £16.99 Payable on the day.
Meet at Skylark café, Fermyn Woods car park. The walks will start across open fields with majestic views. We will discover the ancient woodlands of Rockingham Forest, a former royal hunting forest. The forest and surrounding area is steeped in history and rich in wildlife. Including varied species of butterfly, reptiles, red kites, badger and deer.
This is an easy 4 mile walk along good tracks taking 2.15 – 2.45 hours.
Number limited so please book early. Usual walking gear – walking boots/shoes, waterproofs, drink and en-route snacks. Paths can get muddy if rain is forecast.
