Our visit to the National Guide Dog Centre
Ever wondered how dogs become Guide Dogs?
Join us for a ‘behind-the-scenes’ experience of the UK’s only Breeding Centre for Guide Dogs - an unmissable opportunity to explore the fascinating journey of a guide dog from the very beginning - before they are even born. You may even get to see some of the gorgeous puppies as they eat, play, and snooze - though this is subject to mother nature and puppy availability.
During the experience, we'll be guided around the state-of-the-art facility by the Centre's knowledgeable team of volunteers who will be able to share with us the secrets of these life-changing dogs. You’ll also discover fascinating information about their important work helping people with sight loss to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The visit lasts approximately two hours and will include:
